As I reflect on the Weekly Wellness from this year, I note how many of them are about striving to be better. And I do think that's important. To be the best version of ourselves. To handle difficult situations with grace. To find inner peace.
But I also forget to remind you that you're doing great just where you are. It's great to just be happy. You don't have to always be striving to be better, and better, and better. Maybe tomorrow, or next month, or next year, you'll want to make some changes. Maybe you're not at peace, and want to start making changes now. Either is okay.
I often forget, while looking to the future, to remember that where I am right now is exactly where I'm supposed to be.
WEEKLY WELLNESS TIP: If you'd like to make a New Year's Resolution, I think that's great. If you don't want to, and instead want to celebrate where you are right now, I think that's great. If you want to do both (or neither), I think that's great! I hope this year you can find joy in your own story, whatever it may be. Happy New Year to you all!
