How much sleep do you need? No matter who you ask, the answer is usually, 'more'. Some people can sleep for 5 or 6 hours and have plenty of energy. Some get 8 or 9 and feel sluggish all day.

Many of us look at sleep as a bother, an impediment to all the other things we could be doing. Or we get down on ourselves when we look at our clock and have been asleep for 10 hours, or take a long nap in the middle of the day.

Everyone is different. Everyone needs a different amount of sleep. Especially during these trying times, with the added stressors at work and home that the coronavirus has brought to us all.

Getting the amount of sleep that you need, no matter what that amount is, will make you and those around you happier and more well.

WEEKLY WELLNESS TIP: This week, get as much sleep as you need. Make sleep a priority, and take note of how much better you feel physically and emotionally.
