Listen to your body. The body does a great job of telling us what we need, we just have to listen.

The body says, "I'm hungry, I need a meal".

We hear, "Eat a granola bar and the leftover candy from last night, and SEE MORE PATIENTS!".

The body says, "I need to rest".

We hear, "Just finish a few more things on the to do list, wash the dishes, return those emails. You'll be fine with 5 hours of sleep".

The body says, "I need to use the bathroom!"

We hear, "I'll just see this patient quickly, discharge bed 4, wait till that consultant calls back, and THEN, I'll definitely take a bathroom break".

WEEKLY WELLNESS TIP: This week, listen to your body. You'd be amazed how much better you feel, and how much more efficient you are, when you take care of your physical needs.
