The other day, my nurse friend and I were talking about all the chaos in our lives. Moving boxes still unpacked, half done projects, lamenting how we didn't have our lives together.

Our social worker friend was with us, listening, and looking at us like we were crazy. She said, (and I'm paraphrasing), "What are you talking about? Look what you just went through! What you're STILL going through. You've lived through a pandemic, working the front lines, the death and sickness, the fear of getting sick yourself. All while still having to come home and live your life, try to do normal everyday activities, take care of your family. You guys are amazing. What do you expect from yourselves? Just sit back and think about all you've been through and give yourselves credit for it".

WEEKLY WELLNESS TIP: This week, consider taking some quiet time to reflect on the last couple of years. You have accomplished so much, endured so much emotionally, and helped so many people being on the frontlines of this pandemic. I hope you're incredibly proud of that.
